Well, well, well, look what we have here, folks! It’s the one and only “My Favorite Pair of Shoes” tale. I mean seriously, if shoes could talk, these ones would have some stories to tell. And let me tell you, this pair of Nike Air Zoom Pegasus 38 has seen some things. They’ve been through more adventures than Indiana Jones and they still look good as new. These kicks have traveled all over the Pacific NW, East Coast, halfway around the world in Isreal, and points in-between. They are worn on their soles and permanently stained with the red soils of Maui.

I remember the day my daughters bought them for my birthday like it was yesterday. It was like love at first sight, and it’s been a match made in heaven ever since. These shoes have become an extension of feet. They’ve probably walked more miles than Forrest Gump and run away from danger faster than Usain Bolt.

Frankly, I’m pretty sure these shoes have some secret superpowers. They’re so versatile that they can make anything look great. From jeans to slacks, business casual to beachy bum, these kicks can pull off any style.

So if you see someone walking down the street with some well-loved and well-worn Nikes, just know that they’re part of a special club.
