This was the first book of the New Testament that we read and I am glad we did. The timing of reading it during Holy Week and the Passion of Christ made it even more powerful for me. It shows us that through Christ’s passion, death and resurrection Jesus guarantees us that things will work out according to God’s will, regardless of what we find ourselves in. When we think there is no hope, the light of Christ leads the way and shows us who he is.
