Rebecca Horn wrote a letter of support published in the West Linn Tidings on April 16, 2015:
I am encouraging everyone to vote for Thomas Frank for Mayor. I have been pleased with the way the city’s reputation, so tarnished under previous councils, has been repaired and has been working smoothly again. I do not want to see it revert back to the old ways.
No decision the council makes is going to make everyone happy. The councilors must listen to all sides, and make their decision on what is best for the city of West Linn, and benefits the majority of citizens. Unfortunately, that means some people will feel that their voices weren’t listened to, since the decision was counter to what they wanted. Nothing could be further from the truth.
Thomas Frank is very conscientious about hearing all points of view in order to reach a decision. I admire a person who says “let’s put all the options on the table” before making a decision. It doesn’t mean Frank is opposed to a particular idea, it just insures all options are considered.
Because of his character and commitment, I encourage everyone to vote for the future of West Linn by voting for Thomas Frank for mayor.
