The West Linn Farmers’ market has been retooled and expanded for 2013! Each week will have a special theme, entertainment, cooking demonstrations, and of course live music. The market runs on Wednesdays June 19th to August 28th 4-7pm. The market is located in the Historic Willamette District between 12th and 15th streets.
Summer Solstice June 19th: Renaissance theme summer kick off party with sword fighting display and an arena for you to test your skills. Live animals, Gameshire kids play area, puppet show, live harp music and more. Feel free to dress in costume!
NW Berry Festival June 26th: Local farmers will be bringing a wide variety of berries from their summer harvest. Enjoy live music,cooking demos and more.
Pie Bake-off Contest July 3rd: Open to the public. Bring us your best homemade pie to be judged by local celebrities including Drew Carney of KGW.
Healthy Living Week July 10th: Connect with local health and wellness based businesses. Massages, yoga demonstrations, healthy cooking demos and more!
Car Show Cruise Week July 17th: Classic car exhibition and other car related vendors. Bring your own classic car to show off!
Family Fun Week July 24th: Just for kids! Music, crafts, games and fun for families.
Lawn and Garden Week July 31st: Garden experts will be around to answer your gardening questions. Live demos as well.
Dog Days of Summer Aug. 7th: Weiner dog races, specialty dog booths, trainers, adoptions —everything related to dogs.
100th Anniversary Celebration Aug 14th: Get ready to celebrate 100 years of West Linn. Free Birthday Cake and booths related to 100 years of history in the city.
Apple Harvest Festival Aug. 21st: Celebrate all things apple! The Pacific NW is known for its wide variety of locally grown apples and we are proud to support local farmers! Live music and cooking demonstrations.
End of the Season Harvest Celebration “Stone Soup” Aug. 28th: “Stone Soup” is a folk story and a “recipe” to teach us that when we work together, a greater good is achieved.” Ingredients will be donated by our wonderful vendors and “stone soup” will be served starting at 4:30pm.
