Glen Friedman wrote a letter of support published in the West Linn Tidings on October 31, 2012:
I first met Thomas Frank while we were serving together on the West Linn Police Station Task Force. During those months, I found Thomas’ commitment to finding the best solution for the citizens of West Linn refreshing. He wants the city to maintain our strong public safety presence and his efforts on the task force and later with the PAC show he is willing to back up his effort with concrete actions.
Thomas has also shown his dedication to the city by serving as chairman of the citizens budget committee and by being a member of the planning commission.
I have found Thomas to be a good listener, taking in other people’s point of view to come up with a decision that is best for the whole city.
His efforts to improve the economic will bring of the city are another area where Thomas has taken action. He has helped organize and implement several successful West Linn cash mobs that have shopped at the various West Linn neighborhood business districts and he has encouraged citizens to support local businesses.
I believe Thomas will make an excellent city councilor who continually looks at ways to improve the wellbeing of the city of West Linn and its citizens.
