Kevin Barton wrote a letter of support published in the West Linn Tidings on October 17, 2012:

I am writing to support Thomas Frank for city council. In the over 20 years I have known Thomas, he has shown time and again that he is a man of character, dedication and integrity.

Thomas has the proven ability and background to lead West Linn. He has a strong background in finance. He is the chair of the citizens budget committee and a member of the police station steering committee, ensuring proper use of bond funds for the new police station.

Thomas cares about the community. He volunteers for St. Vincent de Paul helping people who need a hand and he organizes cash mob events to help West Linn businesses.

Thomas is dedicated to the future of West Linn. He is an advocate of local business and supports using existing revenue to improve infrastructure, such as streets and sidewalks. Thomas supports a strong public safety presence and ensuring that West Linn schools are second to none.

I have the difficult task of describing a man whom I have known for more than 20 years in a single letter. I urge you to vote for Thomas Frank for city council so you may see firsthand what I have known.
